Bamford House is superbly situated in one of the most historic and attractive, yet quiet, areas of Blackpool, 100 yards from the Promenade with its seven miles of golden beach.
This perfect location is close to Blackpool Central Pier, the Town Centre, Pleasure Beach and only 5 minutes walk from Blackpool Tower and Winter Gardens.
Bamford House is family run by Helen and Rick, offering affordable high quality accommodation which has recently been awarded one of the highest accolades for bed and breakfast in Blackpool. We are accredited by Visit England and we have been issued with the Blackpool Approved award - stating we are a quality inspected establishment. Our 13 en-suite rooms have recently been refurbished, most with flat screen TV's and DVD players.

Train - Blackpool North
Blackpool's main train station is around 30 minutes walk away. When arriving with luggage, children or on the occasional day when its raining it is often easier to grab a cab from the taxi rank there. The taxi fare is expected to be just over £8, though road works and diversions could result in a small variation.
Train - Blackpool South
Blackpool South is slightly closer, the train service is far less frequent and there is no large taxi rank next to it.
Coach Station
The National Express coach station is located near Coral Island at the north end of the central car park. Around 10 minute walk away
Manchester Airport
Manchester International Airport is around 60 miles away and well served with trains to Blackpool. However if there are a few in your party then sharing a taxi offers the convenience of door to door service. It is recommened that taxis are booked in advance as some at the airport taxi rank can charge significantly more when not prebooked. Contact us at Bamford House for an appropriate taxi service. For big events such as dance festivals it is worth booking the taxi transfers well in advance
Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Liverpool John Lennon Airport is less well connected to the public transport network. Again with the convenience of door to door service a taxi can be the easiest option.
